Yard Operator Job Details Level Entry Salary Range Undisclosed Job Location USA-MD-Gambrills Travel Percentage Negligible Position Type Full Time Job Shift Undisclosed Education Level High School Job Category General Labor Description We have an immediate openings for a Concrete Yard Operator at our Waugh Chapel, MD facility. The Yard Operator will be responsible for assisting with the daily operation and maintenance of the concrete batch plant and related equipment. This includes but is not limited to keeping equipment and plant site neat and clean at all times, maintaining plant grounds and making sure all equipment is in its proper place. The Yard Operator will also be responsible for maintaining proper levels of aggregates and admixtures, keeping hoppers full of aggregates at all times and loading dump trucks, trailers, and pickups with the proper amount of requested material as required. Qualifications Must be able to operate a front end loader. Must have basic mechanical skills. Must be computer literate. Must be able to climb and lift up to 100 lbs. Must be able to work extended hours as needed including weekends and nights.
