The Registered Nurse Administrative Supervisor is a professional nurse with the authority and responsibility to assist the Director of Nursing Services in delivering quality, evidenced-based nursing care that is compassionate, culturally competent, cost-effective, and efficient. He/she has the delegated authority and responsibility to assure that the following functions are addressed: 1) Management of the services provided by the unit staff. 2) Oversight of policies, and procedures that describe how patient's nursing care needs are assessed, evaluated, and met. 3.) Participation with leaders from management, medical staff, and clinical areas in the facility's decision making structure and processes; and 4) Participate in the facility's ongoing program to monitor, evaluate, and improve the quality of nursing care delivered to patientsMinimum Qualifications:
- Current licensure in Minnesota as a Registered Nurse AND
- Bachelors of Nursing Degree AND
- 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse Supervisor OR 5 years charge nurse experience as a registered nurse AND
- 2 years Registered Nurse experience in a field of specialty (i.e. mental health, addiction, long-term care, public health, etc.) [this experience can be obtained concurrently with the RN supervisor or charge RN experience
- Master's of Nursing Degree
