DescriptionThis position is responsible for managing the manufacturing engineering function for the Renewal by Andersen plant. This leader will be responsible for developing and executing an annual strategy focused on operations excellence, reducing waste, increasing efficiency and eliminating variation within our manufacturing processes. The Driver will be expected to transport and deliver our windows and doors to our dealers, distribution centers and/or construction job sites using a tractor-trailer. This position requires a wide range of skills from practicing safe driving and delivery to top-notch customer service. This is a hands-on delivery driving position and will be out 2-3 nights per week.  Work Schedule – Our drivers work Monday – Friday and are home every weekend. Out 2-3 nights per week. Sign-On Bonus - Sign on bonus will be paid out in 2 installments. $2,500 after 1 full week of employment and $7,500 after 1 year of employment. Work Hours - A typical day can range from 10 – 14 hours depending on route assigned. Compensation – Our drivers are paid hourly and are eligible for overtime! Training - As a new driver you will be working with an experienced driver learning the routes, customers and the products.   PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:   Safely assist in the loading and unloading of the product to customer’s location and/ or return products. Perform frequent lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying of windows and doors of varying weights Drive truck to destinations in accordance with Federal regulations. Maintain records required for compliance with State and Federal regulations including driver logs, possible fuel purchases, mileage records, and other records required by law. Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures, and comply with all Federal, State, and local regulations for safe operation of a commercial motor vehicle. Professional representation of the Andersen Corporation. Able to answer questions regarding packing lists, invoices, packaging and material content. QUALIFICATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Job Specifications – Eligibility Requirements Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License and doubles endorsement if twin trailers are pulled at location. Have an acceptable accident and moving violation Motor Vehicle Record. 2 years’ previous tractor-trailer (or straight truck, depending on equipment) driving experience including winter driving experience. Ability to read, write and perform simple mathematical calculations with general mental ability to handle receipts, read maps, read road signs, maintain logs, etc. Good oral communication skills Ability to follow instructions and take directions via on-board computer system and by phone. Working knowledge of vehicle safety and control systems. Knowledge of D.O.T. regulations governing safe driving, hours of service, vehicle inspection and maintenance. Meet or exceed the medical standards of the U.S. Department of Transportation. Satisfactorily pass a drug test.   PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:   Ability to sit and remain alert while driving for extended periods of time. Ability to shift manual transmission and operate foot pedals. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Create demand for the Sup Lux products within the architectural community. This will be done through office visits, CE presentations and participation in regional architectural events. These activities will be designed to make AW the preferred product in the Super Luxury segment. The goal is to create specifications for the AW brands assigned for this role. In person sales calls. This will typically be face to face meetings with the end user/purchaser, which will usually be the builder or homeowner. This will include providing product information, demonstrations, pricing, details, performance data, installation guidance and any other necessary information. Pipeline management using Andersen's CRM tool. This includes account and pipeline management within the Salesforce platform. All accounts and projects are to be entered once identified and updated on a regular basis. This is the main resource for finding, developing, and managing the Super Luxury pipeline. This will also be used to provide updates on progress against the KPI's and sales goals for the individual sales reps.  Administrative work. Assessment of existing equipment for process, capacity, functional capabilities, and obsolescence (legacy).  Provide plan and prioritization for dealing with machines that have obsolete / unsupportable control systems. Identify Cost Reduction opportunities.  Lead or participate on project team to implement Controls Engineering solutions. Effectively use Poke-Yoke to reduce operator complexity. Use A3 Policy Deployment as a tool to identify, prioritize, and implement improvement projects. Qualifications Bachelor of Science – Electrical Engineering; or equivalent combination of education and experience An experienced automation technician (without a degree) well versed in Rockwell Automation devices and software will be considered based on their experience level and background.
