Duties Summary The incumbent of this position is an Information Technology Specialist (INFOSEC) assigned to the Cybersecurity Policy and Compliance Division (CPCD), Office of Critical Infrastructure and IT Security (OCIITS), Chief Information Officer (CIO) Directorate, Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP). Learn more about this agency Responsibilities As an INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (INFOSEC), you will: -Conduct risk assessments, security evaluations, and reviews of information systems and technologies throughout the system life cycle. -Design, develop, and recommend acquisition specifications related to IT security considerations and appropriate security design features and safeguards. -Conduct program oversight, including on-going monitoring and periodic auditing of systems and systems operations, to insure early resolution of security issues that develop. -Provide leadership and expert advice with regard to systems security during development, implementation, operation, retirement, and disposal of IT systems and equipment.
