Job Description
Liberty STEAM Charter, a tuition-free public charter school in Sumter, SC, seeks guest teachers to join a team of talented educators. The ideal candidate is committed to serving low SES and minority scholars, self-reflective, data-driven, and results-oriented. Substitute Teachers will provide teaching coverage, implement curricula, and supervise students.

Requirements

  • High school diploma (or associate's degree with 0-2 years of experience or bachelor's degree)
  • Prior experience working in schools and/or urban communities (preferred)
  • Strong time management skills, ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines
  • Self-motivation, willingness to be a team player, and strong sense of personal responsibility

Benefits

  • Daily pay rate of $102 (non-certified, Tier 1), $127.50 (non-certified, Tier 2), or $170 (certified)
