Job Description
Sunrise Senior Living is seeking an Activities and Volunteer Coordinator (AVC) to develop and lead engaging resident-centered activities and volunteer programs. This role focuses on creating meaningful connections between residents, their families, and the team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in fostering community relationships and supporting the well-being of the Sunrise Senior Living community.

Requirements

  • Maintain a balanced resident centered activity program according to guidelines.
  • Assess, plan, and manage facilitation of a comprehensive activities program.
  • Recruit entertainers and schedule special events.
  • Coordinate with other department coordinators.
  • Conduct regularly scheduled and specialized activities.
  • Provide support to the Reminiscence Coordinator (RC) and Resident Care Coordinator (RCC).
  • Manage Smile quality reports and the Volunteer Recognition Program.
