Job Description
Sunrise Senior Living is seeking an Activities and Volunteer Coordinator (AVC) to develop and lead engaging resident-centered activities and volunteer programs. This role focuses on creating meaningful connections between residents, their families, and the team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in fostering community relationships and supporting the well-being of the Sunrise Senior Living community.
Requirements
Maintain a balanced resident centered activity program according to guidelines.
Assess, plan, and manage facilitation of a comprehensive activities program.
Recruit entertainers and schedule special events.
Coordinate with other department coordinators.
Conduct regularly scheduled and specialized activities.
Provide support to the Reminiscence Coordinator (RC) and Resident Care Coordinator (RCC).
Manage Smile quality reports and the Volunteer Recognition Program.
