Job Description
The Assistant Director, Engineering & Operations will lead the operation of the university's district energy system, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient performance across all systems. The role manages staff, contractors, and vendors, oversees maintenance and upgrades, and supports strategic planning and special projects.

Requirements

  • High School diploma/GED with nine (9) years of steam, chilled water, and heating water production experience, five (5) years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of steam, chilled water, and heating water production experience
  • Valid driver’s license with fewer than 12 points on their Motor Vehicle Record
  • High pressure boiler operator’s license
  • Computer program proficiency level: Intermediate
  • 5-7 years supervisory experience in a healthcare setting
  • CHFM (Certified Healthcare Facilities Manager)
  • Computer program proficiency level: Advance
