Assistant Professor - Clinical Mental Health Counseling

Requirements

• Teach master’s and doctoral level courses in a CACREP-accredited counseling program
• Provide administrative support to the CMHC program
• Advise and mentor master’s level counseling students and serve on doctoral-level dissertation committees
• Participate in all meetings and assigned committees related to the counseling department
• Develop and maintain an active research line in clinical mental health counseling and counselor education
• Participate in service activities within the department, college, and university, as well as within state and national professional counseling organizations
• Work collaboratively and ethically with other faculty, staff, and students within the department, college, and university while promoting the mission and goals of the department and counseling profession
