Job Description
The Board Hardware Engineer functions as the project lead engineer working with various teams to design and develop PCBs, creating schematics and functional specifications, and interacting with customers. Key responsibilities include interpreting product requirements, selecting components, writing functional specifications, and working with physical design to determine component locations and routing constraints.

Requirements

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or equivalent
  • 5+ years of related experience with PCB design and development
  • Experience performing high speed PCB designs
  • Experience designing and laying out DC/DC regulator circuits
  • Experience performing board bring-up, using oscilloscopes, digital multi-meters and soldering tools
  • Working knowledge of Cadence-Allegro System Capture and PCB Editor software tools
  • Experience with simulation tools such as Cadence Sigrity PowerDC and OptimizePI, LTSPICE/PSPICE
  • Familiarity with common bus protocols such as DDR4, PCIe, UART, I2C, SPI and USB
  • Office tools: MS-Office(Excel, Word, Visio), Google (Sheets, Docs)
