Job Description
Mariners Church is seeking a part-time Receiver to manage inventory, quality control, and shipment processing. This role reports to the Bookstore Director and works 15-20 hours per week, primarily on weekdays, in a non-exempt position under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). The role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and collaboration with various team members.

Requirements

  • Accurately track and manage incoming and outgoing product shipments.
  • Inspect shipments for damage and ensure all items are in good condition.
  • Document shortages and damages for refund processing.
  • Create Purchase Orders using Shopify/Stocky.
  • Understand and apply bookstore policies.
