Job Description
The Business Development Representative is responsible for expanding the facility’s lines of service by developing and retaining referrals from hospitals, physicians, and other professional referral sources. The position requires frequent travel around the Wilmington, NC and surrounding area.

Requirements

  • Develops and implements business development programs in consultation with the Director of Business Development (DBD).
  • Maintains a schedule of primary sources including business, industry, EAPs, managed care of clients, physicians/licensed practitioners, and allied health professionals.
  • Develops and maintains new account relationships and markets.
  • Develops strong relationships with key referral sources.
  • Represents the facility at civic and professional functions and communicates mission in all outreach interactions.
  • Manages leads from referral sources and ensures efficient admissions process for clients.
  • Maintains current awareness of changes in the industry through self-education, peer education and professional and community involvement.
  • Generates face to face meetings and admissions activity per goal.
