Job Description

We are looking for a CTE AP Programming (Computer Science) Teacher to join our team at IDEA Pharr College Prep. The teacher will be responsible for instructing 8th-12th grade students in a variety of subjects, including AP Computer Science Principles and Game Programming & Design. The ideal candidate will have a high level of content-area proficiency, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to adjust and adapt to a multitude of situations in the school environment.

Requirements

High level of content-area proficiency as evidenced by teaching certification, field of study, or work-experience
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution
Experience in a K-12 classroom setting
State certification preferred but not required
