Job Description
Howmet Fastening Systems is looking for an experienced Deskside Support Technician to provide technical assistance, troubleshooting, and maintenance for our end user computing environment. The ideal candidate must have strong problem solving skills, good user communication abilities, and a solid technical background.
Requirements
Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows desktop operating systems, laptops, mobile devices, and application software.
Support Office 365, Teams, printing, label printing, and peripheral devices.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and support shop-floor hardware including industrial PCs, handheld scanners, and label printers.
Perform device imaging, configuration, deployment, and lifecycle management.
Troubleshoot end-user network connectivity including wired, wireless, and GlobalProtect VPN issues.
Document all work in ServiceNow with timely updates following departmental SLAs and ticketing standards.
Maintain asset inventory for hardware, software, and peripherals.
Assist with new user onboarding, account setup, MFA support, and workstation configuration.
Ensure compliance with Howmet cybersecurity, data handling, and device security policies.
Provide exceptional customer service and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical users.
