Job Description
The Edible Academy Garden Educator develops and facilitates garden-based outdoor science education programming with classes of students from partner schools and NYBG's seasonal gardening camps. The educator prepares lesson plans and program materials highlighting hands-on vegetable gardening, culinary arts, health and wellness, and sustainability.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in education
Minimum of two years' experience in outdoor and/or garden-based education settings
Valid Driver's License (preferred)
Strong understanding of current NYC, NYS, and NGSS learning standards
