Electrical Maintenance Mechanic 1st Shift

Requirements

• Must have at least 5 years documented electrical experience
• Must have a high school diploma or GED
• Must have intermediate knowledge of PLC's, soft starts and VFD's
• Must be able to read ladder logic and troubleshoot by inputs and outputs at the PLC
• Must be able to read an electrical schematic
• Must be able to understand the NEC manual and understand the code that will apply to voltage, power supplies, amperage, controls and troubleshooting
• Must practice and understand LO/TO and Arc Flash
• Must be able to understand 3 phase 480, 240 and 208 circuits
• Must be able to understand 277 volts and lighting systems to include emergency lights, exit lights and UPS systems
• Must be able to troubleshoot 120 volt and 24 VDC control circuits
• Must be able to use a multi-meter, amp-probe and megger when troubleshooting
• Must be able to install and remove any electrical motor and pump in the facility and be able to troubleshoot and make necessary repairs
• Must be able to run conduit and pull wire in ridged and seal tight conduit
• Must be able to work overtime when scheduled or needed and this includes weekends and holidays
• Must be able to do mechanical work, troubleshooting, installations and repairs (multi-craft)
• Must have their own hand tools and tool box
