Job Description
Schnabel Engineering is seeking an entry-level Geotechnical Engineer to join their team in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering and 0-4 years of relevant experience.

Requirements

  • Provide engineering support on geotechnical projects
  • Plan, perform, and oversee subsurface investigation and testing programs
  • Prepare and/or review field test logs and geological/engineering reports
  • Survey interpretation, calculation of quantities, and creation of various other supportive drawings and graphics
  • Development of geotechnical reports and specifications
  • Perform geological and geotechnical engineering analysis
  • Proposal development
  • Construction observation of specialty geotechnical works and foundation construction
  • Travel, including overnight and out-of-town travel
