Job Description
SBP, a social impact organization focused on disaster resilience, provides a holistic approach to reducing risk, creating resilient communities, and streamlining recovery. The Disaster Assistance Program supports clients with understanding and navigating the FEMA appeals process, assisting in applying for assistance, navigating funding, and receiving housing or other support. The client service coordinator will be a primary point of contact for clients seeking assistance with FEMA appeals.

Requirements

  • Assist clients with FEMA application or appeal.
    Prepare and present cases to site leadership for funding.
    Manage a caseload of 30-40 clients.
  • Meet weekly with the Client Services Manager.
  • Input client data into Salesforce and upload documents.
  • Adhere to SBP’s Construction Manual and Safety Protocol.
  • Participate in September 11th Day of Remembrance and Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service.
  • Maintain a full-time schedule of 1700 hours.
  • Must pass a full-time orientation. 42 hours a week.
