OVERVIEW
Alera Group is looking for an Employee Benefits Actuarial Analyst– joining us may be the perfect fit for you!

RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop financial models for budgeting, renewals, and due diligence
Support self-funded plan analysis, including premium rate calculations and M&A reviews
Lead stop-loss negotiations and manage compliance-related fee calculations (e.g., PCORI)
Conduct benchmarking and data analytics to optimize benefit offerings
Model employee cost impacts and support strategic benefit decisions
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience (required)
PA Life and Health License (preferred; must be maintained if held)
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
Demonstrated ability to work independently, creatively, and meet deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; advanced expertise in Excel
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Willingness to travel as needed to support client engagements
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This is a hybrid position, as there could be need to travel into the office.
