Job Description
This position is responsible for the management and supervision of the department’s activities relating to accounts payable. Work includes the identification and resolution of operational and management problems in these areas.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in a State Accounts Payable office.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, practices and procedures.
  • Knowledge of the Florida Accounting Information System (FLAIR).
  • Ability to develop and monitor policies and procedures relating to accounting processes.
  • Ability to develop and organize data into logical format for presentation in reports, proposals and other written documents.
  • Ability to utilize problem solving techniques.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret accounting data.
