Job Description
The Strength and Conditioning Coach (SCC) Certification Assistance Program (CAP) is a joint initiative by Serco and the Army Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) program. This program provides financial support and study materials for qualified candidates to obtain the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) credential, allowing them to become eligible for employment as an H2F SCC. The program offers 12 months of preparation and focuses on NSCA certification. This initiative addresses a candidate gap in recruiting for the H2F program.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Bachelor's degree in any field
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation with Automated External Defibrillator (CPR-AED) certification
  • Minimum of three years of relevant SCC work experience
  • Waivers for interns/graduate students may be granted for SCC-related work
