Job Description
This Part-time Head Start/EHS Teacher Aide position at the Tampa Head Start center requires a high school diploma and willingness to complete 45 hours of supplemental training within 90 days. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children, possess a strong understanding of child development, and be comfortable with a fast-paced, part-time schedule. Responsibilities include assisting with activities, record keeping, supervising, and providing support for children and families.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED certificate
  • Six months experience working with preschool children
  • Enrolled in Child Development Associate (CDA) program
  • Valid Florida Driver’s License
  • First Aid and CPR Certification
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
