Job Description
McCarthy Building Companies is looking for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic for our Channelview, TX location. Position will require travel and support yard and job sites regular heavy equipment maintenance.

Requirements

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair heavy equipment
  • Maintain a safe shop work environment
  • Effectively communicate equipment issues with supervisor
  • Operate/maneuver heavy equipment on site
  • Check daily to ensure equipment functions properly
  • Ensure equipment is safely and securely stored
  • Accurately order needed parts from vendors
  • Operate and test equipment after repair
