Job Description
POWER is seeking a Human Resource Generalist to join their team in the Swissvale, PA office. This role focuses on supporting day-to-day HR operations, ensuring compliance, and fostering a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in HR practices, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple HR areas. This is a full-time, in-person position with strong tech requirements.
Requirements
Administer and coordinate HR policies, procedures, and programs.
Support recruitment efforts including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
Maintain employee records and HRIS systems with accuracy and confidentiality.
Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and employee inquiries.
Provide guidance to employees on HR-related issues, including performance management and employee relations.
Support training and development initiatives.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
Participate in HR projects and initiatives to improve processes and employee engagement.
Prepare reports and presentations for HR metrics and analytics.
Exercise sound judgment while handling sensitive information and situations with confidentiality, diplomacy, tact, discretion and professionalism.
Maintain high level of proficiency with technology and functions with a tech savvy approach, integrating apps and AI into the core HR processes to elevate the HR department and the manner in which we interact with candidates and staff.
Demonstrate a strong level of business acumen demonstrated through both verbal and written communications.
