We are actively hiring for an IT Engineer IV. Your Role: This role is responsible for collaborating with business stakeholders and external vendors to document both functional and non-functional requirements, develop user stories, and maintain up-to-date design and mapping documents. Primarily focused on the telematics area, the position will support Next Generation (NG) initiatives from a telematics perspective while maintaining and supporting the telematics platform roadmap. Additionally, the role will serve as the primary point of contact for external telematics vendors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.Your work:Aligns highly complex solutions with business and IT strategies.Ensures clarity and compliance with the organization's architectural standards and documents functional and non-functional requirements.Ensures clarity and inclusion of appropriate details, and strategy, in the same.Maintains documentation for new and existing applications.Works closely with customers, business analysts, developers and other team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.Provides subject matter expertise to project stakeholders (customers and IT) and reviews documentation of other analysts for completeness.Involved in the full systems life cycle.Responsible for designing, documenting, implementing, maintaining and supporting highly complex or mission critical application software that is delivered on time and within budget.May lead small teams to accomplish assigned projects.Root Cause/solution recommendation - Analyzes defects with an eye towards finding root cause, recommending both technical and non-technical solutions.Required Experience, Education and SkillsBachelor's degree in related area (Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.6+ years System documentation experience and/orExperience with Installation, configuration, upgrade, and triage of IBM Datapower appliances.Experience in managing Container Platforms like Kubernetes.Experience in administration of Apache Kafka.Working knowledge of Java Application servers like IBM WebSphere and Apache Tomcat.Working knowledge of Apache HTTP Server.Experience working and using AWS Cloud Services with up-to date AWS certifications.Experience with shell scripting and Ansible for automating administrative tasks.Experience in Application monitoring, alerting and reporting tools such as New Relic, ELK and Splunk.Working knowledge of the Unix/Linux Operating systems.Responsibility for sharing 24 x 7 on call rotation duties with other team members.Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and nights.Ability to have good communications with customer.What would make us excited about you? Working knowledge of industry practices and CSAA IG's policies and the ability to develop a clear understanding of the company's key functional processes and resources.Actively shapes our company culture (e.g., participating in employee resource groups, volunteering, etc.)Lives into cultural norms (e.g., willing to have cameras when it matters: helping onboard new team members, building relationships, etc.)Travels as needed for role, including divisional / team meetings and other in-person meetings.Fulfills business needs, which may include investing extra time, helping other teams, etc. Let’s keep working together Submit your application to be considered. If reasonable accommodation is needed to participate in the job application or interview process please contact TalentAcquisition@csaa.com.The national average salary range for this position is $110,000 - $123,000. However, we have a location-based compensation structure. Our salary ranges vary and are calculated based on county of residence.
