Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned Lead Fullstack Engineer to spearhead the modernization of our legacy Java application into a cloud-native, microservices architecture.

Requirements

  • Define and enforce technical standards, architectural principles, and best practices for backend services, APIs, and database design.
  • Drive key technical decisions regarding technology selection, design patterns, and long-term scalability of the platform.
  • Champion the adoption of modern development practices, including the effective use of AI-powered tools to accelerate development and improve quality across the team.
  • Mentor and coach senior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
  • Lead code and design reviews to ensure high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested code across the entire stack.
  • Collaborate closely with front-end leads, DevOps, and product teams to break down complex projects and ensure seamless, cross-functional execution.
  • Act as a technical point of contact for the project, clearly communicating progress, challenges, and architectural concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Lead development of the most critical and complex components of the system, including core microservices, data migration strategies, and performance optimizations.
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable, resilient, and secure backend services and APIs using Spring Boot.
  • Oversee and contribute to database schema design, query optimization, and data access strategies using relational databases and/or NoSQL solutions.
  • Ensure system reliability by implementing and advocating for robust testing strategies and modern CI/CD practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve systemic issues and performance bottlenecks across development, staging, and production environments.
