Carlisle Weatherproofing Technologies (CWT) is a leading building envelope solution supplier that effectively drives energy efficiency and sustainability in commercial and residential applications. We are seeking an Operator in our Lester Prairie, MN Plant.
Monday- Thursday 6am-4:30pm (off Friday's)
Starting Pay: $22hr
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Machine Operator to be based out of our Lester Prairie, MN location. You will be accountable for the operation of a variety of machines to assist with meeting daily production goals. Responsibilities range from preparing machines for specific jobs to cycling materials through to the finished product.
What you will do:
Operate machines as necessary
Operate and change tools in shape molding presses.
Perform shape molding operation consisting of filling mold cavity and adjusting all gauges to produce a quality parts to meet Plasti-Fab guidelines.
Move raw materials
Changing molds, tear down, set up, program, operate
Ensure quality standards set by production control
Monitor and record all required information reporting any irregularities in equipment or products
Assist with inventory control
Program machines to meet the requirements of each job
Keep work area safe and clean
Qualifications/ Skills/ Knowledge:
High School diploma or equivalent
5 + years’ experience in manufacturing
High level of professionalism and integrity
Self-directed, able to work independently and as part of a team
Able to coordinate, and accomplish multiple competing priorities
Proficient in basic math
Must be able to accurately read tape measure
Basic hand tools
Minor maintenance to equipment
Ability to work independently or as a team.
Must be available for overtime and Saturday when demand requires
Basic computer skills
Mechanically inclined
Physical Demands/Work Environment
Required to lift up to 50 lbs.
Repetitive bending, twisting, and reaching throughout the day
Able to stand for long periods of time
Must be able to handle noisy conditions
