Job Description

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for performing daily inspections, managing maintenance teams, and overseeing vendor relationships to maintain company brand standards and control spending. They will also be responsible for completing documentation, diagnosing and performing maintenance, and ensuring a safe and clean environment for all patrons. Additionally, they will assist with creating key sets and interacting with residents, guests, and employees in a hospitable manner.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years maintenance experience or equivalent technical experience
Strong understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, local code, building standards & customer service skills)
Experience with reporting on monthly P&L statements to ownership, contract negotiation and vendor management
Effective leadership skills
Strong attention to detail, follow-up and excellent organizational skills
Ability to treat sensitive/confidential information with appropriate discretion
Resilient and teamwork oriented; able to multi-task and handle competing priorities
Strong sense of urgency, adaptability, flexibility and ability to function professionally under pressure
Proven competencies in software applications and programs, particularly Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Excellent word processing and file management skills
Experience with Entrata is preferred
Good working knowledge of office equipment and procedures, including computers, photocopiers, printers, telephone systems, etc.
Must possess personal tact, discretion, and good judgement. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
5+ years of working experience in the industry or relevant building maintenance required
2+ years of managing team members
CPO (not required but a plus)
