Job Description
The Medical Assistant (MA) provides both administrative and clinical support to ensure efficient primary care delivery while fostering a smooth, compassionate, and patient-focused experience.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate of a Medical Assistant program or Licensed Practical Nurse in State of Ohio
  • MA certification (preferred)
  • Self-disciplined, energetic, passionate, and innovative
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients and other external parties
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
  • Ability to interpret, adapt, and apply guidelines and procedures
  • Knowledge in vaccine administration, storage, handling and documentation
  • Knowledge and understanding of medical terminology
  • Knowledge of patient care and examination procedures
  • Knowledge of using medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care
  • Skill in assisting in a variety of treatments and medications
  • Skill in taking vital signs
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships

Benefits

  • Full Time/Benefits Eligible
  • Monday - Thursday 8:30 - 5:30pm, Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm rotating late night until 6pm. Rotating Saturdays 9am - 12pm.
