Job Description
As a Medical Technologist - Lead, you will coordinate waived, moderately and highly complex testing across multiple hospital and/or clinic locations, provide technical resources and daily direction to testing personnel, and assure quality testing and accurate test performance.

Requirements

  • Successful completion of a program in Medical Laboratory Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree
  • Successful completion of MLS (ASCP) certification or equivalent
  • Meets federal guidelines (Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments/CLIA) for performing high complexity testing
  • Excellent written and verbal skills, must communicate effectively with individuals from multiple disciplines
  • Strong attention to detail, demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness
  • Ability to monitor own work to ensure quality, and possess excellent prioritization skills
  • Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagrammatic form
