Job Description
Radiology candidates who accept a part-time or full-time position with University Hospitals are eligible for a competitive hourly rate, enhanced PTO, sign-on bonus, tuition reimbursement, career ladder progression, free parking, and more. As an MRI technologist, you will operate MRI scanners, ensure quality images and information for healthcare professionals, and develop relationships with patients. You will also be responsible for providing age-specific care to patients from neonates through geriatrics, performing MRI scans, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Requirements

  • Displays commitment to the mission of the hospital and its values
  • Provides age-specific care to patients from neonates through geriatrics
  • Performs MRI scans as directed by radiologist, and, once orientation and training are completed, independently conducts scans if ARRT-registered
  • Patient care during visit to MRI
  • Knowledge of MRI equipment and safety in MRI environment
  • Assures a safe and clean environment
  • Maintains knowledge of technical skills
  • Takes responsibility for self-development and supports a learning environment
  • Demonstrates successful technical/patient skills by efficiently implementing special procedure technology in the MR area
  • Uses administrative skills to contribute to the successful operation of the department
  • Collaborates effectively and in a timely manner with co-workers and clinical staff
  • Clear knowledge of modality specific equipment, computers, PACS, EMR and RIS
