Patient Care Tech (PCT) - Telemetry

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Graduation from a school of practical nursing, or completion of a Certified PCA/PCT Program, Certified Nurse Assistant Program, Medical Assistant Program, or EMT program, with six months direct patient care experience preferred
• Good analytical and observational problem-solving skills, mathematical ability, ability to adapt to new technologies, and good reading, writing and comprehension skills
• Physical ability to regularly walk and stand, lift soiled linens and move equipment, and assist patients in repositioning and basic activities of daily living
• Visual acuity and manual dexterity, and ability to perform routine clerical functions such as answering telephones and taking messages
