The Patient Service Representative I will provide customer service and ensure a positive patient experience. The representative must ensure accurate and timely patient information is processed to create a smooth patient experience between the clerical and clinical staff. They will also ensure adherence to company policies and ethical practice.

Requirements

  • Welcomes and greets patients and visitors in person or over the phone.
  • Registers new patients and updates existing patient demographics.
  • Collects outstanding patient balances.
  • Facilitates the patient flow by notifying providers of new arrivals and handling requests.
  • Ensures proper patient and medical record administration and adherence to regulatory compliance.
