Job Description
The Pharmacy Intern position is an advanced technician-level role that involves performing pharmacy functions under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. The intern will develop their knowledge base and competency level while participating in interdisciplinary patient care rounds, drug purchasing, and medication counseling.

Requirements

  • High School Equivalent / GED
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited School of Pharmacy
  • Prior experience as a pharmacy intern in a retail, hospital, or community setting (Preferred)
  • Eligible to work as a pharmacy intern in the state of Ohio
  • Ability to work on a team
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office and Windows
  • Working knowledge of clinical drug information
  • Current Active Pharmacy Intern license from the Ohio Pharmacy Board
