Job Description
Griffith Company is seeking a Project Accountant Assistant to support the accounting function of their San Diego Area operations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of accounting experience and excellent organizational and communication skills.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in accounting
  • Experience with processing subcontractor payments is preferred
  • Ability to accurately work under pressure in meeting deadlines
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and written skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Proficient with Excel, Word and Outlook applications
  • Ability to analyze data
  • Team player
  • Ability to perform analysis of spreadsheets relating to accounts receivable entry, accounts payable entry and general accounting, calculate figures and amounts including unit of measure issues, discounts and tax
