Job Description

Join Our Team at R-2 Contractors! We're a leader in Civil & Underground construction, specializing in power infrastructure projects nationwide. We're looking for a Civil Takeoff Technician – Electrical & Renewable Energy to perform accurate quantity takeoffs related to electrical infrastructure and renewable energy scopes within civil construction projects.

Requirements

Associate's degree or technical certificate in Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Drafting, or related field
2+ years of experience performing takeoffs for civil scopes in construction
Experience in solar, wind, substations, or utility-scale energy projects
Proficient with Bluebeam Revu (takeoff tools)
Experience with takeoff/estimating software such as Planswift, OST, AGTEK, Trimble, or HCSS HeavyBid
Solid understanding of civil and electrical construction drawings, symbols, and standards
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
