Job Description
The position involves conducting controlled laboratory experiments using 2D Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) and Tomographic PIV (Tomo-PIV) techniques to capture the dynamics of microplastics in aquatic environments. The role also requires developing a theoretical and mathematical model for microplastics transport and decay in riverine environments.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in civil/environmental engineering or relevant field
  • Experience in fluid mechanics and analytical solution (preferred)
  • Data analysis, high speed camera videos interpretations, fluid and structure interaction in open channel flows (minimal experience)
