Job Description
Rockwell Automation is seeking an intern to work on test engineering projects, with opportunities to develop and test Rockwell hardware and optimize industrial operations. The intern will work with a team of engineers and industry professionals to contribute to product design documentation and test reports.

Requirements

  • Must be pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Must be enrolled for at least one more semester after the internship concludes.
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required.
  • Pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or similar from an accredited college or university in the greater Milwaukee area.
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Experience with Power Electronics or motors
  • Experience with design capture tools
  • Be able to work with schematic drawings
  • Basic knowledge of circuit theory and operation, including microprocessors, digital logic devices, analog and/or DC-power conversion, programmable devices (CPLDs, FPGAs)
  • Basic programming (C++, C#, Java, Python or JavaScript)
  • Familiarity with tools such as CAD, Creoparametic, ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), 3D Modeling, SAP, Matlab
  • Experience with industrial automation environments including PLC or drives programming
  • Experience using Agile methodology
