Job Description
The Community Youth Center of San Francisco (CYC) is seeking a School Violence Interrupter to address behavioral disruptions and incidents of violence in schools and within the community. This role involves outreach, referrals to behavioral health services, mediation, and collaboration with community partners. The goal is to promote safety, heal youth, and reduce violence through linguistic and culturally competent programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in social services or related areas or 2+ years experience with street outreach, conflict mediation, and crisis response.
  • Experience working with San Francisco’s diverse communities.
  • Knowledge of the San Francisco Criminal Justice System.
  • Excellent communication and computer skills.
  • Strong organizational, collaboration, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to lift or move at least 25 lbs.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean DMV driving record.
