Job Description
Serves as the human resources staffing and professional development representative for Ambassador Teachers to facilitate the staffing process, including applicant screening, hiring, and teacher placement. Works with Teacher Support Program and Director of Leadership Development to support school administrators with Ambassador Teacher professional development, cultural competencies, and performance concerns.

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of the Ambassador Teacher Program
  • Considerable knowledge of human resources, teacher support and professional development best practices
  • Considerable knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Google Apps
  • Knowledge of culturally responsive practices
  • Strong project and program management skills
  • Effective training and facilitation skills for professional development and onboarding
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to create, manage, and document budget allocations and expenditures
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in oral and written form using a variety of communication techniques and tools to ensure the appropriate flow of information, collaborative efforts and feedback
  • Ability to plan large-scale projects and events
  • Ability to perform data analysis
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school system staff, external agencies and Ambassador Teachers
