Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Principal RF Engineer to lead radome/antenna and RF sensor test system development for advanced programs and hypersonic missile contracts. This role includes designing and qualifying radomes, implementing RF measurement systems, and managing upgrades to support development and production. The ideal candidate will have experience in antenna and/or radome design for airborne applications, RF sensor measurement chamber design, implementation oversight, and/or troubleshooting, and experience leading teams of 15+ people.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of engineering experience, OR an advanced degree in a related field and 8 years of engineering experience in two or more of the following: Antenna and/or radome design for airborne applications, Experience in RF sensor measurement chamber design, implementation oversight, and/or troubleshooting, Experience leading teams of 15+ people
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Advanced design experience with RF-specific products, including antennas, missile bodies, radomes, and/or RF sensor test chambers
  • Master of Science (MS) in STEM related field
  • Experience serving in technical leadership roles such as Responsible Engineering Authority (REA), Control Account Manager (CAM), and/or Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL)
  • Proven expertise in supplier management for build-to-print or build-to-specification RF products and test solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience delivering presentations to leadership and customers
  • Strong understanding of failure investigation processes, including root cause identification and corrective action implementation
  • Experience designing for manufacturability, producibility, and cost optimization
  • Familiarity with hypersonic environments and associated design challenges
