Job Description
This Senior Procurement Specialist - Construction role within the Agency's Capital Development Projects requires leading the procurement and administration of complex contracts related to construction, engineering, and professional services. The specialist will manage SBE/DBE program outreach and compliance, ensuring equity, inclusion, and legal compliance, and providing strategic procurement direction. This role requires strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and requires advanced knowledge of project management.

Requirements

  • Senior Procurement Specialist: $86,433 - $129,649
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, procurement, purchasing, public administration, economics, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in public procurement for goods and services, including complex capital projects.
  • 3 years of experience leading teams, working with committees, and applying project management.
  • Professional experience with PC-based software such as MS Office, email, and scheduling applications.
  • Knowledge of procurement and contract law, federal, state, and local procurement laws.
