Job Description
Varo Bank is seeking a Senior Manager of Disputes to transform their operations, enhance customer experience, and ensure regulatory compliance through close collaboration with various teams. This role involves overseeing dispute processing, refining processes, managing teams, and driving innovation for both product and engineering improvements. The manager will also lead readiness efforts for new products and collaborate with implementation teams.
Requirements
Worked at FinTechs or innovative Financial Institutions
6+ years of progressive experience in fraud / disputes
4+ years focused specifically on disputes & chargebacks
Experience managing employees and off-shore operations
Analytical and critical thinking skills
Knowledge of Dispute regulations (e.g. Regulation E, Regulation Z), NACHA rules and Visa card network rules
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with dispute management platforms and systems (e.g. disputes case management systems, Visa VROL, etc)
