Job Description
Textron Systems is a defense technology company seeking a Senior Manager of Operations to lead Manufacturing Engineering, Planning and Production Control, and Logistics teams. The role requires 8 years of manufacturing experience and 5 years of leadership experience. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering, with a focus on Lean Manufacturing principles and concepts.

Requirements

  • Cross-functional experience with Engineering teams
  • Leadership experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Planning and Production Control, and Logistics
  • Technical knowledge of mechanical assemblies, electro-mechanical assemblies, and MRP/ERP systems
  • Experience with Oracle is desired
  • Knowledge of military and commercial quality specifications (AS9100 Stds)
  • Ability to analyze complex specifications, drawings, procedures, and schematics
  • Ability to plan and organize
  • Ability to effectively resolve manufacturing issues across organizations
