Requirements

• Coach and develop all production team members
• Develop, administer, and coach Standard Work Instructions
• Drive 5S procedures with team
• Drive actions to close gaps and meet KPI Metrics
• Ensures all safety requirements for all processes are being followed
• Motivate, direct, align and guide the team for best performance
• Review and track KPI’s, such as first pass yield, scrap, and maintenance costs
• Identify and recommend value stream process improvements
• Review work orders, production specifications, technical instructions, facility requirements, tool requisition, equipment, and supplies for department
• Oversight and manage the daily inventory for department supplies
• Coordinate appropriate staffing with Ops Manager and assist with team resource concerns
• Update and communicate team metrics to the team
• Meets all production requirements by pre-planning and follow up on all jobs having work ready for next shift
• Coordinate with Team Leaders to create plans so teams meet daily targets
• Monitor attendance, training, safety, and other company policies and procedures
• Controls man hours including indirect hours, overtime, and days off to workers. Allocates man-hours vs. job #’s
• Works closely with other production supervisors and management to promote efficiency and teamwork in each department and in throughout the facility
• And other duties as assigned.
