Job Description:




Temp Biology Lab Staff duties:



1.  Will provide regularly scheduled work coverage in the lab 4:15 - 10:30 each semester during regular semester hours..



2.  Assist in checking all labs are complete/prepped.



3.  Assist in making solutions with hazardous materials without the need for supervision.



4.  Assist in culturing bacteria for microbiology and all biology courses.



5.  Assist in clerical work.



6.  Assist in preparing 8-week course materials



7.  Assist in training lab personnel.



8.  Assist in updating prep sheets.



9.  Can assist in develop training videos for various aspects of the bio prep lab.



10. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.



 



 




Requirements:


Requirements are: an associates degree, 2 semesters of biology or chemistry, and 1 year biology or chemistry lab experience.






Additional Information:


Temporary 25 Hour Part-Time Staff



Mon - Thurs 4:15 - 10:30 PM



$19 per hour

Illinois has tax agreements with these reciprocal states. Employees may have their primary residence in Indiana since Indiana is adjacent to Illinois.
