Bimbo Bakeries USA is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to improve transportation effectiveness, streamline processes, and ensure products are delivered safely and on time. The role involves coordinating transportation schedules, monitoring weather, verifying vehicle condition, providing training, and ensuring compliance with regulations. This is an on-call position requiring availability 24/7.
Requirements
Supports General Plant Safety, Food Safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices.
Coordinates Transport schedules with Shipping and Production departments.
Monitors weather conditions and adjusts schedules.
Verifies condition of vehicles and repairs equipment.
Oversees loading and unloading product and supplies.
