CHIEF MARKETING OFFICER (CMO)

Serving as the chief spokesperson related to media coverage, this compelling individual will set the road map and objectives for Marketing to achieve member and financial growth and retention goals.

This creative problem-solver and change agent will provide strategic direction for our marketing and sales organizations, focusing primarily on planning, developing sustainable/scalable marketing programs, budgeting and forecasting. In addition, the CMO will provide the vision for developing effective methods to track and evaluate the performance of our marketing functions, including data collection, interpretation of results, instituting best practices and processes, with a focus on deploying scalable systems to report on success.

Required Credentials

•Bachelor's degree business or marketing/communications or related from an accredited college/university.
•10+ years of progressive senior leadership experience in strategic marketing and business development.
•10+ years of broad functional experience in the areas of strategic planning and marketing, business and market development, market research and planning, and promotions/advertising.
•10+-year track record of developing successful, innovative, cost-effective marketing campaigns; and expert-level experience using analytics to drive marketing efforts.
•Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, and negotiating skills to maintain effective relationships with senior leadership, the board of directors, management, staff, and outside business partners.
•Effective leadership abilities and a record of accomplishment as part of an executive management team.
•Ability to develop a marketing strategy that will deliver results aligned with our corporate vision and business plan.
•A professional, courteous image and countenance appropriate for interacting with members, co-workers, the board of directors, management, business partners and the community.
•Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Windows, Internet Explorer, and HRIS.
•Knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act, as well as other federal laws including the U.S. Patriot Act, Office of Foreign Assets & Control, Anti-Money Laundering, Right to Financial Privacy Act, and the Bank Bribery Act.

Preferred Credentials

•Master's degree business or marketing/communications or related from an accredited college/university.
