Position Summary: Responsible and accountable to define and implement the site security plan to protect the site's integrity, people, processes, assets including information. Establish the Site Security Plan to identify the risks and the environment specific to the site and the means and controls to be put in place to appropriately address these.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Description: Security Management 50% Responsible for internal security workforce and contract of security suppliers to ensure the adequate level of security of the premises covering in priority preventive and then immediate, reactive measures. Ensure compliance with State, Federal, Airport and Transport Security legislature and all regulatory requirements as required and with those specific to the site. Implement and communicate the Airbus security policies, directives and procedures issued, and supporting Airbus Company Security tools. Centralise the security-related actions and events, and inform the Site Management, the Country Operational Security Manager and the Corporate Security of them, and establish the related operating reports including specific and common Security KPIs. Plan and manage the operational security budgets for multiple sites (Opex and Capex) in coordination with Country Security Manager. 2. Description: Risk Management 40% Overall responsibility for surveillance (audit) activities for multiple sites. Ensure communication at site level the Airbus security awareness campaign and extend it to local needs. Ensure that all Airbus classified information and assets are safe-guarded and handled in accordance with the Airbus security directive. Be intimate with the assets, industrial processes, logistics and supply chain of the site and develop a strong relationship with the site management. Ensure that security risks are managed and resulting processes are in place to sustain security risk management and ensure security events are managed, reported, investigated, assessed (impact and root causes), corrective and preventive actions are taken and recorded. 3. Description: Emergency Management 10% Overall responsibility for site preparation for the possibility of catastrophic security related events, or related significant security incident. Ensure emergency and contingency planning exercises are completed and recorded. In case of major events/disaster, the candidate must coordinate with and support the site's emergency coordinator for first response operations. Additional Responsibilities: Position requires an extensive knowledge of security systems, local and federal laws as well as TSA and FAA regulations.

Qualified Experience / Skills / Training:


Required: Associates Degree or equivalent experience Preferred: Bachelor Degree in criminal justice


Required: 5 plus years of physical security Preferred: Prefer one year supervisor experience and background in management in a service setting Licensure/Certifications:Required: Level II Non-Commissioned Security Officer Certification Preferred: Level III Commissioned Security Officer Certification Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities: Required:Must possess a high degree of accuracy in multiple facets of the job such as, record keeping, etc. Ability to carry out investigations related to all security matters (theft, vandalism, etc.) Ability to carry out assigned projects to their completion with minimal supervision. Communication Skills (Spoken, Written, Influencing, Proficiency in Other Languages):Required: Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in written form. Technical Systems Proficiency:Required: Excellent Excel, Word and Power Point skills a necessity Knowledge of physical security systems (preferably Genetec Security Center-Badges, Avigilon Control Center-cameras) Preferred: Knowledge of SiPass Security Systems Travel Required: 15% Domestic and International Citizenship: Authorized to Work in the US Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Government security clearance Decision Making, Complexity:Ability to establish and maintain professional and effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, and external entities each of which require cooperative efforts on both sides. Must have excellent problem solving skills Ability to maintain and ensure the confidential nature of the position Organizational information: Reports to Sr. Manager, Environmental Job Dimensions, Contributions to Success:Manage operational budgets at multiple sites Coordinate capital expenditures with CAPEX group to support each site's security program Nature of Contacts: Involved Communication on a daily Basis with internal and external parties Physical Requirements:Onsite: 85% Available during 1st shift daytime operations in Grand Prairie. Ability to visit other sites at least once every other month. Vision: able to see and read computer screen and other electronic equipment with screens, able to read documents, reports and engineering drawings on a daily basis. Hearing: able to hear to participate in conversations in person and via teleconference or phone and to hear sounds on production floor including safety warnings or alarms on a daily basis. Speaking: able to speak in conversations and meetings, deliver information and participate in communications on a daily basis. Equipment Operation (personal computer, telephone, copies, fax machine, and related office equipment and using electronic identification card to enter building floors and internal doors): able to operate most office and personal electronic equipment and some tools including production tools such as hydraulic lifts on an as-needed basis. Carrying: able to carry documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs on a daily basis. Lifting: able to lift documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs on a daily basis. Pushing / Pulling: able to push and pull small office furniture and some equipment and tools on a daily basis. Sitting: able to sit for long periods of time in meetings, working on computer on a daily basis. Squatting / Kneeling: able to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving on a daily basis. Standing: able to stand for discussions in offices or on production floor on a daily basis. Travel: able to travel independently and at short notice. Must be able to travel at least 1 week every other month to Columbus Facility. Walking (include routine walking such as to a shared printer to retrieve documents): able to walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces on a daily basis.
