In response to the accelerating pace of change in the payments industry, Visa is extending its network, opening access to payment capabilities, and encouraging participation by new stakeholders in the payments ecosystem. To do that, we are unbundling our products, rationalizing them into consumable services (APIs and SDKs), and opening them up to a broader set of stakeholders through Visa Developer. Visa Developer enables financial institutions, merchants, strategic partners, and independent software vendors to more easily use our network, value-added services, and data assets. Through a best-in-class online developer experience and supporting expert services and tools, developers will be able to readily discover, access, integrate, and test what they need from Visa to create new and innovative solutions for their customers. We have a vibrant online community which is growing very fast. The role of “Associate Business Analyst, Visa Developer Platform” is a position in Visa’s Platform and Products organization that will be responsible for driving the adoption and success of the Visa Developer Platform (VDP) by clients, developer community and other third parties in the North America region. This position will be responsible for VDP client project execution and community building activities. We need motivated individuals who can support our clients and developer community by providing product details, expert advice and marketing support to build a vibrant Visa Developer client base and community. The position will work closely with VDP Product team, VDP Sales, Developer community team, regional marketing and communications, and Visa Technology teams in the comprehensive development and execution of the client projects and community initiatives. This role reports into the Sr. Director, Visa Developer Client Engagement. The successful candidate will have technical background to facilitate solutions design, business acumen to involve in client discussions, operational excellence to execute client projects, marketing and communication skills to develop community and clients. In addition, candidate must be highly collaborative, bringing a structured approach, ideally have a technical background, and have an exceptional ability to communicate complex, often technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS This role has the potential to grow as a solutions expert, who will work closely with clients in building solutions using Visa’s products. Hand-hold clients through support activities related to Visa Developer ideation, onboarding and launch processes to ensure client delivery. Build deep understanding of Visa APIs to ensure client knowledge delivery and idea generation. Will require to participate in client conversations eventually. Be able to understand the queries from clients (technical and non-technical) related to visa’s products and route it internally and coordinate with various team to provide on time solution. Work with marketing on the development and execution of a comprehensive marketing, communication, events, and PR plan for driving demand for VDP with target segments. Work on various content creation initiatives by keeping track of progress and deliverables with external agencies and internal organizations. Work with regional lead in evangelization and educational, training programs by creating and customizing appropriate client facing materials. Ensure the systematic collection of client and market feedback on VDP and specific APIs so Product Management and Technology can improve Product/Platform experiences and prioritize new feature and capability development. In partnership with the Developer Community Manager, establish developer outreach programs and both internal and external events (e.g., hackathons, etc.) to establish VDP as the industry standard platform for global payments. Assist community communications for events and campaigns by developing content through various platforms including monthly newsletters, blogs, etc. and maintaining a generic email inbox. Help maintain the social and content calendars for publishing on the site. Support the coordination and planning of strategic programs, campaigns, and sponsorships our influencers and top users. Identifying and acting on opportunities to connect members. Ensure successful experiences with our existing users by playing an integral role in customer relationship management. Might need to travel for client discussions eventually, not immediate. This position will be located in Foster City, CA, though occasional commute to other Visa offices in the bay area will be required. The position will require availability during core business hours.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Minimum 6 months of work experience or Bachelor’s degree PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS BA/BS; MBA a plus 2+ years tech/product experience, with a strong focus on digital products, services, and/or platforms. API platform experience a plus. Proven ability to work with Technology, Product, and MarComm to deliver and execute an integrated product offering and go-to-market plan Fluency and experience interfacing regularly with clients and internal partners Ability to communicate complex, often technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences Analytical thinker, team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible, with excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities Naturally optimistic and energized by delivery of new products to the market An expert relationship builder, able to charm and interact with new people in any social setting, as well maintain a strong personal network. Experience with Photoshop and InDesign a plus A Twitter/Insta/FB ace with 300+ followers (a plus) Tech and social media savvy

WORK HOURS Regular business hours M-F. Flexible schedule can be worked out with hiring manager. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS Occasional commute to other Visa offices in the bay area will be required. The position will require availability during core business hours. Traveling on business is not required for this position, although occasional travel for conferences and client engagements might be necessary. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, reach with hands and arms, and bend or lift up to 25 pounds.
