Description

We believe our customer experience starts with our employee experience. The Executive & Internal Communications Senior Manager partners with executive leadership and key stakeholders to design and implement strategic communication programs that create clarity, confidence and connection to our strategy, and promote our reputation and brand. This role reports to the Director of Executive & Internal Communications and will directly support our Chief Human Resources Officer on her internal/external communication platforms and our Great Place to Work strategy. The role also partners with leaders across Human Resources to drive internal programs, strategies and campaigns. Key Responsibilities Partner with executive leaders to provide ongoing strategic counsel and coaching on how to clearly communicate, connect and inspire. Develop comprehensive communication and change management strategies, and execute detailed plans in support of large-scale, company-wide transitions. Support both annual processes and strategic investment programs, such as Open Enrolment, Total Performance, new technology implementations and business transformation. Create internal and external visibility programs for executives, including speaking opportunities to build our reputation and brand. Research, interview, write and publish executive blogs, news stories and executive presentations. Drive discussions and develop creative briefs and campaigns to tell our story across a variety of media, including videos, social media and events. Leverage latest innovations, best practices, technologies and feedback to continuously improve our communications approach. Mentor other team members to learn, grow and contribute to a high-performing team.

Qualifications

The Senior Manager will have an extensive track record of designing, developing and successfully implementing comprehensive employee engagement and executive communication programs using multiple platforms and media. The ideal candidate will have: A minimum of 12 years of corporate, internal and executive communications experience. Outstanding copywriting skills with ability to capture the executive’s voice and elevate their content and presence; ability to simplify complex content and write in a clear, succinct, engaging format that adapts to audience needs. Outstanding verbal and presentation skills. Solid project management skills with ability to develop and execute multiple end-to-end programs concurrently and with little oversight. Exceptional interpersonal communication skills and senior client relationship management experience. Executive presence, professionalism, and ability to influence and build partnerships at all levels. Strong understanding of internal communications and public relations strategies; ability to think strategically and build and implement plans that drive results. A track record of innovation, challenging the status quo and taking action to identify and implement improvement opportunities. Solid team collaboration skills, initiative, and passion for coaching others and growing as a team. Desire to make a difference and do more than is required by the job. This includes a passion and will to know more about what drives our mission, business, people, and success. Experience in Human Resources and the healthcare industry. Consulting mindset and experience in management, public relations and communications. Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business or related field is required; master’s degree preferred.
